Wind Energy Center
The Blooming Grove Wind Energy Center is an opportunity to boost the local economy of McLean County and create jobs, all while generating clean, American made energy to meet Illinois' growing electricity demand.
The project is located northeast of Bloomington-Normal, Illinois and will begin preliminary construction in the fall of 2019. Full construction will begin in late spring 2020.

The project will support up to 500 construction jobs during project construction.
Over the life of the project, the project will invest an estimated $119 million in the local community through property taxes and land payments, and local wages and benefits.
